Quarter Life Crisis

I am currently going through what I like to call "My Quarter Life Crisis."

Essentially it consist's of me freaking out over the fact that I am turning the big 2-0 in less than six months. I've always imagined myself as a fabulous twenty-something: heels, pencil skirts, fancy drinks, city life. The problem is that of course I'm still stuck in college. Not just stuck in college, but at a college in the tiniest town imaginable.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my school. I wouldn't transfer for anything. It's just hard to imagine myself in the role I've always dreamed about when I'm 45 minutes from a Target. Where do I wear my heels? Where do I get tgo exerience the city lights? No where.

I'm also just tired of school. I don't want to learn-I want to do! I want to get started on my career and make a life for myself. Studying is just not what I'm passionate about. It's hard to believe that I have 2 and a half more years of this.

When will my life get started?

  1. I know the feeling.
    I'm almost 24 and I'm still a janitor in a grocery store.
